NE Honea Path Organized 1910 1st wooden frame 1910 - 1925, consecrated 1st Sunday in May 1926, built 1925, wooden frame 40 X 45 feet, belfry & bell, portico entrance, capacity 200, size of church lot & cemetery 1 acre, value of building $1400.00, value of lot $185, total value of church and all property $1585, oldest markers in cemetery 1912. First settled clergy T. C. Frazier, tenure 1910 - 1912, educational background Anderson City Schools. Records prior to 1938, discarded. This church originated as a result of a revival held in a tent by the first pastor at his locality. It is very near New Broadmouth (colored) church and many of the members were drawn from this church. Charter members 21, present members 80.
